Site Live – August 14th, 2010 Well, it's been about a million years in the coming, but the new site is finally live. I've wanted to redo the MR2 site for years and have only had a few minutes here and there to work on it, but it's finally good enough to display (though there are still a lot of things to work on). Hope everyone likes it!
Almost done! – August 14th, 2010 I have made a lot of progress on the site today, completing the calculator and making a lot of minor changes. I am going to run through everything again and see if it is ready for the public.
Some More Progress – June 7th, 2010 I've recreated several of the galleries, using a new display that is much nicer. I'm also completely caught up on the fuel history. After completing all of the galleries, I can add in the calculator and the site should finally match the current MR2 site, so I can "release" it then. The other huge part that I haven't even started on is complete maintenance history of my MR2.
Major Progress – March 7th, 2010 I worked several hours on the site today, using it as an excuse to not do some other work. I imported 3 of the photo galleries because I want to get those out of the way quickly (and I can come back to them later). I rewrote 90% of the calculator code, so I need to do some extensive testing on it now. Hopefully this site will be complete enough to be public in a few weeks....
Background Progress – August 11th, 2009 I have been working full time as a web developer in Seattle, but I'm also picking up another job, so I haven't had a whole lot of free time. Regardless, I've been slowly chipping away at completely recreating this site. I was hoping to have it all done by the end of summer, but I'm not sure I'll hit that goal now. I believe I'll release the new site when it is at least as functional as the current site. It's already got some features that aren't on here, and it will have its own domain name finally, but that's all I'm saying for now....
