MR2 Photo Gallery
Here are some of the many photos I have taken over the years I have owned my MR2. These are divided either into years or into events, and you can see the changes in the physical appearance of my Toyota MR2 Turbo over the first couple of years as I modified the car a fair bit. As the years progressed, I spent less on modifications, but I did get bettery cameras. Enjoy!
Note that the gallery may take a few seconds to appear depending on download times and processor speeds.
- 2007 and 2008 - I didn't take a whole lot of photos during 2007 and 2008, so this gallery is nearly empty, but a few photos is better than no photos, right? Right...?
- 2006 Whidbey Island - Every year there is a meet and a cruise around Whidbey Island in Washington State. We take the ferry across to the southern part of the island and the cruise along to the northern part before crossing back over.
- 2006 Polish and Chuckanut Drive - This gallery is just two sets of photos. The first is a series of photos I took after washing and polishing the car quite a bit while visiting family again in Ocean Shores, WA. The second consists of photos from when my buddy Nick (who owns an RX-8) and I went for a drive along Chuckanut Highway.
- 2005 Mt. Baker - These photos are from an MR2 meet at Mt. Baker in Washington State. Some MR2 owners from Canada met up with MR2 owners from the US to enjoy some nice cruising along the mountain roads.
- 2005 - I left the military in July of 2005, after completing my four years of service, so I did quite a bit of work on my car just before getting out. Finally, I did a lot of maintenance and changed out the wheels, springs, struts, exhaust, and interior leather. I also hit 100k miles in 2005. Warning: This is a large gallery!
- 2004 - I bought my MR2 Turbo in 2003, but I didn't start modifying it much until 2004. I added tail lights, corner lights, air intake, boost controller, and other things.
- 2003 - These photos are from 2003, the first year I owned my second generation Toyota MR2. I took these photos with a 35mm camera, so all of these images are actually scans (which is why you can see a lot of dots/hairs/dust on them).
- Original Photos - These were the original photos of the 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo that I viewed online before deciding to go check out the car in person. Sorry, only the factory sticker has a larger version.
